MoPowered Announces 100th Merchant
Brands such as DFS, WatchWarehouse and MedicAnimal have recently launched MoPowered mobile-friendly websites, designed to maximise sales from the growing number of consumers shopping via mobile devices. Other, more recently won accounts include well-known names such as BBC Worldwide, Superdry, Trunki and Runners Need, all of whose m-commerce systems are due to go live shortly.
There has been a significant growth in m-commerce in the past 12 months, with 20% of e- commerce traffic now originating from mobile devices*. MoPowered has capitalised on this momentum with customer numbers more than trebling in the same period. With m-commerce expected to account for almost 25% of overall e-commerce revenues by 2017**, the value of deploying MoPowered is becoming increasingly clear to customers.
